the okoro family farm has existed for one-hundred-and-twenty-five years, founded just before the turn of the twentieth century by the widowed josephine "joe" okoro using the land left to her by her late wife, sequoia waters okoro. located on the outskirts of eclipse town, miles away from any neighbors in all directions. fifty-two acres of land have been left untouched in their original state and are home to an abundance of local fauna and flora. near the entrance to the farm is the okoro family tree, older than the farm itself planted by joe okoro upon acquisition of the property. for many years sweetgrass farms operated with minimal livestock, besides those to help with working the fields. however, shortly after paloma okoro's marriage to marc chloros, the couple acquired a variety of livestock including goats, pigs, ducks, and additional horses.[break][break]

in the 1950s arthur okoro, a formidable alchemist and gaia witch, added a greenhouse to the property. the greenhouse became home to a variety of medicinal plants, as well as arthur's prized roses. for a brief period of time, sweetgrass farm sold dried herbs, salves, potions, teas, etc under the name sweetgrass apothecary. this particular business endeavor was not as fruitful as intended and was primarily a passion project of arthur okoro. after his passing, sweetgrass apothecary quietly shut its doors. the greenhouse still stands to this day and is maintained by members of the okoro family. the cultivation of flowers and medicinal plants has never ceased but is now a family affair, rather than a business venture. the current owners have considered reopening sweetgrass apothecary in light of current events. currently trying to recover from a series of unfortunate events including the death of matriarch rose okoro, a barn fire, the loss of livestock, the mysterious disappearance of bello okoro, and generally struggling crops. rumored by many of the locals to be cursed. bellora okoro and her husband niles okoro, current owners of sweetgrass farms, have been struggling to grab the reigns of the family business. members of the community suspect that neither of them inherited the same business acumen the late rose okoro possessed. with the current situation becoming more and more dire, opportunists watch with rapt attention.
