But I digress![break][break] Let us make like teenagers and consider the contents of this prophecy, let us take it for what it has become: gossip, city chat, small talk.[break][break] What does that make us? A generation who would make light of the future is surely doomed to repeat history...(page 11)[break][break] One dead after Wu's performance Elliot Graves, sentinel of Pegasus, died during Julian Wu's performance on Saturday. At the event, at least 40 witches were gravely injured.[break][break] There have been rumors of a resignation from music on part of Julian Wu, who has claimed responsibility for the damages and sent out reparations to the Graves family...[page 6] CAD delays to increaseCad Train delays are expected to increase, say Salem Transit Authority operators. Many have blamed the delays of Sybarite mismanagement, but the coven has only been contracted for protection services. The delays seem to be coming from a string of hardware issues. Each time a train acts up, it must be taken out of the system for days-long repair, which leads to transit delays.[break][break]
"Sure, it takes us a long time to fix, " says a Cad Operator. "But we're working with intricate, century-old designs. When things go wrong, we have to be really careful, for everyone's sake."

The train network, designed in the 1880s, has been undergoing repair for the first time since its inception. Recently, a family has come forward claiming their son died on the Cad attacks, alleging they were "afraid to speak out" earlier due to heavy council censorship.

[break] The protest outside Lamia Towers were less fervent today as the crowd seems to have lost its energy, onlookers say.[break][break]
"At some point, I think in April, someone broke the tower's glass. That kind of thing just ain't happening again," said Bryan MacNeal, longtime Tartarus resident.[break][break]
McNeal and others like him have been protesting for weeks now with fluid demands, centering around a desire for transparency regarding the Cad Hijacking, a removal of transit fares, and a dissatisfaction with witches in general. [break][break]
Things appear business as usual in the Lamia Towers, where no new statements have been released since the initial letter issued from H.P. Wisbane's office condemning the violence at the towers. Indeed, the protest are no longer centralized at the Towers, as some of the protestors say they no longer view Sybaris as the enemy, but rather the "system" as a whole...

Cerberus's Lamba Squadron was eliminated in the Jairwood while responding to new monster sighting, according to coven officials. Amid a call for N.E.P. to be postponed, the coven hosted a funeral on Monday for the deceased witches.

In an afternoon press conference following the funeral, Cassidy Wolfe rejected the suggestion.

This will also be the first year that N.E.P. is held in Eclipse, suggesting the reclusive town is opening itself up toward greater co-operation with Salem in the future.

Kashvi Verna, the interim mayor of Eclipse Town, was in agreemenet. They noted that there would be no changes to the Town's plans of hosting Novice Exchange Program 2022.

"I know the Jairwood has been increasingly violent as of late," said Verna in a press conference on Friday. "But establishing Eclipse's relations with OCCs has been a goal of my campagin from the beginning."[break][break]
OCCs, or Out-of-City Covens are extremely important in the safety of non-walled cities like Eclipse and some bazzaars in Myca that frequently suffer from monster attacks. This year alone, Eclipse has called in for 47 OCC requests, many of them filed directly to Delphi.
