No one ever promised that the rockstar lifestyle would last forever, but damn did she resist for far too long. The constant cycle of drinking and late night parties had to stop. Ending here would allow her to leave with some dignity. Cherish those memories, gather them up inn a scrapbook, and leave them tucked away on the shelf. When the latest marketing campaign suggested fighting monsters to raise publicity, she found the inspiration to return full-time. A bold lie to any aware of the true story—how the coven is merely a disguise for the many-headed Hydra. Blame the long lost days of youthful rebellion; her destination was both expected and inevitable. Sang songs of revolution until the words gained new meaning. Never a popular subject among her parents generation, still licking their wounds from the Great War. Her performance brought in the anarchists, determined to call her a poseur. Oh, how she proved them wrong, falling right into their trap. [break][break]
Age brought forth maturity, the ability to be patient. She's perfectly content to lurk below the surface, play some jazz, and wait for the day Hydra will reemerge. It's only when she's out defeating monsters that the cracks begin to show. Glimpses of the rage that used to define her, carefully sealed away with a fresh layer of duct tape each time. She's in control. Promise.[break][break]
