phase one jae and thea begin their quest in the VULCAN HIGHLANDS to MT. APOLLO, rumoured to be housing a phoenix. the journey up to the peaks are quite dangerous--with a steep path that's filled with various daemons.

phase two jae and thea finally find phoenix ontop of the cave. they begin the ritual where they offer frankincense and meat to an old phoenix. the phoenix, wanting to test jae's trustworthiness, asks him a series of questions that begin to make him wonder what his life's purpose really is. in the end, it believes that jae is worthy and burns them in a cocoon of purifying fire, leaving behind an egg and one phoenix feather.
