[nospaces] [attr="class","plotcont"] [attr="class","plotstats"] I can't believe I'm making a plotter, bless lav code. The easiest way to reach me for plots is through discord dms, feel free to shoot me a message if any of my characters might interest you! I love discussing what was and could be, even if it starts as just vague ideas. my response speed varies between blistering fast (gold, gold, gimme the gold) and taking a few days to brew something up. [attr="class","plotflex"] [attr="class","plotname"] [attr="class","plotstats"] KYO IWATA 24 / pegasus / ench/aquos / caretaker A standoffish, cold Pegasus witch that's difficult to get along with. When he isn't working at the detective agency he's interning at, Kyo enjoys taking on a lot of part-time jobs. [break][break]Some people say he isn't such a bad witch, though. One claims he helped her cross the street, another says they helped her find a lost cat and multiple reports suggest that he's gone out of his way to spend a great deal of his free time at various places in the city, such as Pacem Hospital, to make use of his familiars' unique ability to help those in need. It's a polarizing reputation, to say the least. [break][break]
connections Nothing is more difficult to navigate than a whiteout blizzard. Kyo is just as hard to see through: he keeps his cards close to his chest and doesn't reveal a whole lot at once, if at all. He can keep you company, but he's quite possibly the worst type of conversationalist. Most jokes go right over his head, and he takes things people say far too literally ninety percent of the time.[break][break]
Even the most patient person in the world may find it difficult to put up with him for long, but those with enough perseverance might find a comfy little cottage in the center of that snowstorm. A warm fireplace, a cup of warm cocoa—he takes care of those that matter to him, as befits a member of Pegasus.[break][break]
Do you have a history in the Vale, or maybe you have an interest in magic as deep as he does? It's possible he's even worked part-time in your store if you manage one. Due to his mythical familiar's power, he could've even helped treat you if you were injured—part of his role in his agency is to aid in search and rescue efforts while leading him everywhere both inside and outside of Delphi, and he occasionally fills in on nightshifts at Pacem Hospital to assist in healing both physical and mental wounds with his familiars' unique abilities.[break][break]
[attr="class","plotflex"] [attr="class","plotname"] [attr="class","plotstats"] RONAN ROSCENTE 27 / cerberus / alchemy/pyros / bratprince A real hothead. Former nobility, but still acts like he deserves the world just for being born. Ronan runs on his own schedule, and even despite being a part of Cerberus, seems to only have real loyalties to himself at the end of the day.[break][break]
His reputation is a mixed bag. Some people like him, and others had one awful experience and would never speak with him again. The redhead is typically up to no good no matter where he is; scheming and manipulating his way through Delphi's politics and relations to try and put himself ahead where it matters.[break][break]
If you know anything about anyone in the Vale, you probably hear about the Roscente family's fall. Stories about their bastard disinherited son who was found guilty of embezzlement, fraud, and adultery. It's pretty easy to see why so many people dislike him, in hindsight. Then again, some people find curiosity with a colorful past like that. [break][break]
connections If you can't stand the heat, get out of the building. Ronan Roscente is stubborn as a mule; he doesn't sugarcoat his words, but he does often lie straight to your face. It's not about what you want, it's about what you can give him. Are you talented in a particular field of magic, or do you have a valuable skillset? If so, then you'll probably catch his eye. He's obsessed with creating connections with those types of people and makes an effort to get on their good side, no matter what it may take. I.O.Us, polite promises or gold. Name your price.[break][break]
Though, maybe you don't meet Ronan. Maybe you meet Clarus, an eccentric Alchemist who runs a small pop-up shop on occasion. He deals in a wide variety of suspicious wares and is liable to rip you off if you know nothing about potions. He means well, really—but your money is far more important to him than your feelings. If you're dissatisfied, come back to complain for a refund... if you can remember, of course. At least the conversations will be fun, right? He'll throw in some gummies for free.[break][break]
Vale-based characters offer lots of potential 'long-term' plots stretching into the past. He has a storied history from a once prominent family who dealt in ores and blacksmithing, but it has since declined into little more than a ghost of the past being headed by his younger brother, Noel, as a puppet prince for the external elders that have since taken over after Ronan's parents were assassinated by an unknown perpetrator.
[attr="class","plotflex"] [attr="class","plotname"] [attr="class","plotstats"] SONG GUI LIN 32 / Hydra / Summon/Illusion / Vulture Being the owner of a small two-story bookstore in downtown Delphi known as "Wisteria", 宋归霖 (Song Gui Lin) appears to have a great deal of time on his hands. Not only does he have a solid reputation as a bookdealer and community activist for the rights of witches, but he also moonlights as a writer under the pseudonym "鬼灵 (Gui Ling)" and works as a talent manager in the entertainment industry.[break][break]
Gui Lin is polite—though he can come across as a tad bit detached from the world around him. Much like his written works, he moves through life like a ghost: not many things appear to hold a great deal of importance to him. All of his energy is poured into the continual improvement of his bookstore and his work outside of it, leaving him very little in the way of a social life due to constant overtime.[break][break]
He grew up in the slums; faced adversity at a young age, and came out completely shattered as a result of it. Hydra picked him up and put the pieces back together in their own way. Gui Lin is, by all means, a construct of Hydra: a test subject who underwent multiple experimental procedures to make him into what he is today.[break][break]
This resulted in him having been left him with a distinct lack of free will.[break][break]
Gui Lin has no remorse, and certainly no shame. He can be very impulsive when the mask slips, and is prone to pathologically lying and manipulating the people close to him if he believes it's for the best. With that being said, there is warmth beneath the cold, heartless inhuman nature he's been forced to become—but it's buried very, very deep.[break][break]
connections Bookbinder, bookseller: As the owner of a quaint little two-store bookstore named 'Wisteria', Gui Lin spends a few days a week opening its doors to any interested bookworm or window-shopper.[break][break]
It's shelves are lined with almost any genre you can imagine—so much so that it may even make your head spin trying to find your way around. It's a cleverly designed layout curated to cause confusion for the layman, seeing as how the real nature of Wisteria is a den for snakes.[break][break]
Beneath its comfortable first floor hides a room filled with various bookbinding tools, and a door with many locks and bolts. If you see it, you can't help but realize something—not only is it good at keeping people out, it seems quite good at keeping people in.[break][break]
Former Talent, Current Manager: Before he owned a bookstore, Song Gui Lin dipped his toes in the entertainment world as a model and classical musician.[break][break]
With his build and ability to act, many thought he was a natural—that it was only a matter of time before his fame took off and he became the real deal. Yet; just as Gui Lin's popularity began to take off, he quit.[break][break]
He springboarded off of it into activism for witches and a less stressful career as a manager, causing most people to simply write him off as a failed flash in the pan—though, some people might still wish for a comeback.[break][break]
Hydra's 'Vulture': Behind the many forms he takes, Song Gui Lin is first and foremost an Acolyte-ranked Hydra operative. 'Wisteria', working as a talent manager, and his frequent acts of activism are only some of the masks he wears in the public eye. [break][break]
He utilizes each of them as a means to gather information and useful connections, as well as communicate with other coven members in their day-to-day lives. Such communications are always cleverly hidden, such as being written in the spines of books, with invisible ink, as complex ciphers that need to be decoded.[break][break]
Despite already putting a considerable amount of time in the field and earning his stripes, Gui Lin still routinely embarks on missions with less experienced witches in order to help 'raise them' for the future.
[attr="class","plotflex"] [attr="class","plotname"] [attr="class","plotstats"] CHO YOUNGJIN 23 / Cerberus / Aer I'm the kinda guy you can take home to meet your mom. She'll think I'm super funny, charming.. and cute, but actually, kind of sexy at the same time? She falls in love with me. I.. think I feel the same way. We get married.
