Each one of us has a soundtrack. It is as idiosyncratic as our fingerprint. It defines who we are, and it tells the story, of all we have loved and lost, and hope to love again. And sometimes...our deepest darkest secrets. [break][break]
For Toni, her soundtrack began with an Addict's Lullaby. Toni's parents were drug addicts, which often led to many sketchy people in and out of the home. Toni took care of herself as soon as she was able to walk and talk and think for herself. A miracle she survived to that point. Not enrolled in school, she took to educating herself, learning what she could and becoming quite sufficient at keeping herself alive. That's where her soundtrack continued, 'I won't back down" quickly came part of that survival, making fake IDs so she could enter places without parental supervision ...along with making sure her parents stayed out of the system...until she had had enough and eventually had to let them go to jail. [break][break]
This was when she packed up her things and moved to Delphi, hearing the opportunities present there were far better than the place she lived in. She wasn’t sure how or why she found the place she had within Tartarus......but she made quick work of starting her own business...refusing to go into the drug business because of her parents, she instead went a different route...becoming a DJ and having a hidden agenda....sending coded messages to people across the radio waves. Easy money, and allowed to use her smarts in a different way. Whether the message was something for a mission, to a targeted person, or just some trade secret Toni was hired to spill to the greater Delphian area...her messages always involved some puzzle, a piece to decode. [break][break]
And it's that business that brought her to Hydra...and while she knows the coven itself most likely a cult (come on...she's not an idiot); they sounded far better than the larger covens present in Delphi. So she joined the cause...after all, she already was keeping her radio identity a secret...what was one more?
