Sera does not have any reservations about making associations that will benefit the family and are discrete. Especially with the two past scandals that hit the family, she will use any means necessary to protect them. She is very cautious and careful about not breaking any laws in her relationships; what they do is their business.

Blind Date - Even if her father doesn't believe in arranged marriages, that doesn't mean other families won't see fit to introduce their eligible bachelors to her. Some might have even gone well and led to friendship, or at least her not wanting to stuff a pumpernickel biscuit in their mouth before they finished their first sentence.

2005 - Adopted into the Knox family officially after the birth of their first son. She attends a private school with the children of other well-to-do families but continues to live at the family mansion. Much of her free time was spent with her younger brothers, and starting in 2008, helping manage the house and care for her adoptive father as injury, death, and scandal followed in unrelenting succession on the Knox family.[break]

Bower House is a little different from most orphanages. It is a neat and tidy building located in the far southern end of Salem Shaped like a U around a central courtyard and entrance hall, the two-story building has room for close to a hundred children and the live-in staff. Bower House is the preferred solution for unwanted children of good breading. Illegitimate children, orphans from fallen families whose meager inheritance can pay for their care, make up about half of the children. The rest are from middle-class families or of unknown origins, left by those with enough resources to reach the gate but not willing to be seen abandoning their young.[break][break]
The orphans live a decent but frugal life; they always have enough to eat, their clothes are in good condition though practical, and they receive medical care and proper education that will allow them to be productive members of society when they age out and if they are adopted, not be a burden on the new family. The staff is reasonable, though many take bribes to give favor to certain children but don’t go out of their way to abuse anyone. Their biggest failing is often ignoring the teasing and bullying among the abandoners who seek to establish or defend the hierarchy of who is the least pitiful among them. It is common for children to be adopted into families seeking to secure some business or political alliance through marriage but lack a child of the appropriate gender or age. However, these children are often adopted young. On occasion, coven officials will stop by to see if there are any promising children worthy of sponsorship; However, these children are not formally adopted; they are typically fostered into a family who cares for them while they are educated and trained to be useful to the coven.

Daughter of the Nobel Sinclair family of Vale, who is believed to be wiped out during a magical accident. She lost her sight and memory in the accident and suffered from magical trauma that slowed her progress as a witch. The only person who would know her identity is the one who brought her to the orphanage. The youngest daughter's body is unaccounted for along with a few others; with the recent political upheaval, any records on her have likely been misplaced or lost.
