[attr="class","chartl-item"]1997 Born to the Sinclair family in Vale, a powerful family with a reputation for purity, power, and a little madness.
[attr="class","chartl-item"]2002 Sera wakes up at the gates of Bower House Orphanage. She has no memories of who she is, where she came from, or how she got there. Nor does she know why she is blind though she is sure this is a new affliction. No one can find any clues to her mystery, and the orphanage takes her in, who figures that, based on the quality of the clothes she wore, she was from a family with at least modest means. [break]
She met George at the orphanage, and though they were only there briefly at the same time, they had a connection. They will reconnect years later when Sera visit the veterinary clinic belonging to George's adopted family.
[attr="class","chartl-item"]2003 (Age 6) James Knox is working as a border guardian for Cerberus. He happens on Sera (Orla) at Bower House Orphanage, known for housing the unwanted children of noble and wealthy families. He decides to adopt her as his wife has not been able to birth an heir, and the girl has potential. Maybe a bit of pity for the blind girl being picked on by the other children.
[attr="class","chartl-item"]2004 Mrs. Knox was likely pregnant with Bastian at the time of Sera’s adoption or very soon after. Before the end of the year, Bastian Knox is born. Believing her adoption was due primarily, if not entirely, to the need for an heir, the birth is both a source of joy and distress.
[attr="class","chartl-item"]2005 (Age 8) A second son, Reiner, is almost immediately born. Sera’s concerns over being cast out are renewed, and like the last time, she keeps them to herself but redoubles her efforts to be the perfect child.
[attr="class","chartl-item"]2007 (Age 10) Sera is given a Shiba Inu puppy that will become a support and helper pet. The dog ends up being named Ikina after Bastian finds out that she had planned to name Lucy. Her reputation for picking horrible names is confirmed. She and George reconnect at her family veterinary clinic when Ikina is brought in for her first check-up.
[attr="class","chartl-item"]2008 (Age 11) She has already learned that Mrs. Knox never wanted to be a mother, though she might have enjoyed the praise that otters gave her for doing so. She and the nannies often look after her little brothers, and when Mr. Knox is severely injured, she shoulders much of the responsibility for his care. While she does not mind, it deepens her negative opinion of Mrs. Knox.
[attr="class","chartl-item"]2011 (Age 13) The death of Mr. Knox’s parents was a strange time for her. She had not interacted much with the elder Mr. Knox, yet his praise grudging or otherwise, had given her great satisfaction. Grandmother had been harder to lose. Though she had always kept a distance, she was fond of the older woman. Much of her time was spent caring for her siblings and an Injured Mr. Knox, as well as her first forays into public speaking, as the media had no scruples about trying to ferret information out of her when they could ambush her.

Female anchor: Our reporters caught up with the Knox children, and the young Ms. Knox spoke on their behalf and had this to say.
[break]
13-year-old Sera: “The Knox family takes libelous statements quite seriously, and I advise that you maintain a respectable distance as a minor approaching myself or my brothers in such a fashion can be misinterpreted as a threat to our safety. I suggest you make any initial inquiries through the appropriate and respectful channels. Any public statement on the tragic loss will be made public in due course by our legal representatives. If you, please excuse us; we do not wish to be late to morning classes.”

Female Anchor: As expected of the Knox family, their angelic appearance is accompanied by impenetrable politeness.

Male anchor: “You would never know that she was adopted from looking at her.”
[attr="class","chartl-item"]2014 (Age 16) Sera is officially accepted into Cerberus.
[attr="class","chartl-item"]2018 (Age 20) Mrs. Knox is arrested for criminal activity.
[break]
Male Anchor: The Knox family is once again rocked by scandal; accusations of Illegal were brought to light with the arrest and rmoveal of Adelie Knox from the family home. Our reporters were able to catch up with the eldest Knox child near Orical University, where she is a student.
[break]
Reporters Are the accusations true, Ms. Knox? Was your mother guilty of the charges brought against her? How much was the family involved in these illegal activities?
[break]
20-year-old Sera: “I assure you all that the family has nothing to hide and is well prepared for their legal team to address such accusations directly. Mrs. Knox's actions do not reflect on the family, and any questions should be directed to our legal representatives. If anyone approaches me or my brothers in this fashion, we will immediately bring charges against the individual and their employer.”

Male Anchor: Not unexpected of the Lady of the family; her response is the same as they were a few years ago.
[break]
Female anchor: Whatever family snatches her up through marriage will be lucky; she's grown into quite the beautiful and refined lady.

Male Anchor: If I remember correctly, Joe said he had never wanted to thank someone for a polite threat so much in his life.
[attr="class","chartl-item"]2019 (Age 21) When Mr. Knox begins to make his entry into politics, Sera naturally finds herself helping him. Just as with every other major event since her adoption, her efforts come naturally, and she soon becomes a trusted unofficial aid since her father refuses to let her quit her studies to work for him.
[attr="class","chartl-item"]2023 Sera will soon finish her doctoral studies and is still determining what she will do after. Continuing to work for her Father seems like the natural choice, but he stubbornly insists she considers all her options.
