With their iridescent feathers tucked into their hats and clad in blue half-capes, the Cavaliers patrol the wilderness bringing justice to those who live beyond Delphi's walls. Whether the threat be daemons or otherwise, they shant waver. [attr="class","sidequestsline"] Overview The Cavaliers is a battalion that specialized specifically in the exploration of the wilderness. Oftentimes going where no member of Pegasus has gone before. Though when not on one of these expeditions they instead patrol the wilderness, offering their protection to the various villages that find themselves beyond Delphi's walls, protecting these people when nobody else will. They also survey their "controlled" territory, keeping note of dormant rifts and searching for active rifts to keep the maps of the wilderness up to date. They aren't assigned to any specific outpost, moving between them quite regularly or even going without outposts entirely due to them almost always being on the move when on an assignment. Some might say they drew the short straw, always taking the more dangerous jobs like patrols and expeditions yet that is the life of a Cavalier. To seek out adventure and bring a modicum of safety to the wilderness. Philosophy The Cavaliers have a different meaning for every member of the group. Whether they are running from their past to simply have nowhere left to go there is one thing every member can agree upon. The Cavaliers are a new beginning, a place where they can move on from what they've done in the past and make something of themselves. It's the real reason why the members of the battalion adopted their codenames, it's something to separate their old life from the one they have now.
