ic description: there is a small house not far from the edge of eclipse town, forgotten and half-consumed by the forest. something lies within. what was it aeris had said?[break][break]

something from darker times, the witch hums, eyes glinting like silver half-moons over the glass rim of a drink. for a moment, the flickering fire-light turns his features into something almost ghastly, a spectre from the past. from when they had to reach into the spaces between the stars, and listen to voices that were not meant to be heard.[break][break]

then, he blinks, and he is only aeris again, smiling and curious. i mean, i still have the address, if you wanted to go looking?[break][break]

the house in question is an abandoned safe house of someone once known as the lyremaker, who made his name trading secrets and magical artifacts alike. an old enchantment still stands guard over its threshold, though it's been long enough that it's since been weakened. somehow, the house seems untouched by anything other than nature. perhaps something else keeps the bandits at bay? to the keen-eyed, the house's bloody history makes itself quite apparent. it is a war fought in the shadows, under a name spoken only in whispers. perhaps whatever lies inside may be of use once more in this new age.[break][break]
