I'm not a good writer but the doctor suggested that I keep a journal for my memories...I've been having problems with my memories lately. My powers aren't impacted and I feel fine physically, but there's been some gaps that I can't quite pinpoint. She said I might be able to find patterns if I keep referring back to my entries, so here it goes.

Sometimes I feel like I haven't really been leading Pegasus lately. I've been taking these long expeditions to clear my mind, and while I know Julian can handle it, I'm more concerned that I haven't been connecting with the coven. Between my memory and the size of Pegasus, I feel like I haven't been there like I should be. The Winter Solstice is coming soon though, so I'm hoping that'll be a good opportunity to talk to everyone... [attr="class","cainjournalfooter"] Cain |

It was pretty fun. I'm feeling good about where Pegasus is right now, although these days it feels huge. We are preparing for the 50th anniversary, and as coven leader, I am supposed to be making a public appearance. Still as nerve wracking as ever to talk to a crowd like that, but I'm not particularly worried. Just as long as I don't feel too particularly sick that day...

In other news, I was surprised to hear that Dmitri was at the soup kitchen, but I always knew he had a good heart. There was that girl there, too, apparently. The one that asked if her group could be a speaker for the Jubilee...I wonder what made Dmitri confront her so aggressively. We should probably do a background check for them and all our speakers if we want to make sure the anniversary goes smoothly. [attr="class","cainjournalfooter"] Cain |

At first I was confused, but I think it's good to have some variety. I remember doing the same thing years ago when I first started...who did I go with? We fell into the river together because we were messing around. Ah, those were good times...hope our initiates felt the same way :)

We are about two weeks before the Jubilee*. It's going to be a gigantic effort; lots of performances and speakers at the event. I also looked into the New Dawn people. While everything seems to pass the background check, I'm still a little unsure about whether they should be invited or not. I reviewed their speech and seemed to be littered with a lot of philosophy...not a great fit for the Jubilee, I think. But they will be allowed to have a table, if they so choose.

Anyways, I wanted to go on an expedition before I get too wrapped up in the 50th anniversary stuff. Unfortunately I'll be missing another council meeting, but they should be able to handle themselves, right? I trust that Cassidy and Dmitri can run things, and they can call Julian if need be. I'm packing today, will be leaving in a couple hours or so. I think it'll be fun. [attr="class","cainjournalfooter"] Cain*It's actually 4 weeks, still waking up haha |

It's nice to be able to visit this village in particular--the grandmas over there are always so nice, but the strangest thing happened. The daemons were more active than usual, and while that's a normal occurrence, it felt different.

Like they were watching me. They didn't bother to attack, but it seemed like they were waiting for a chance to ambush us. I know of a few reports where daemons have achieved a higher level of consciousness, but to have it happen to us was really unnerving.

It seemed to throw Zinnia off too, because she was on edge. More agitated than usual--she's normally so shy, so that concerns me. Luckily we were able to chase them off and fortify the village. Things seem to be back to normal. I will be returning to Delphi in a couple days, so I'll end it here... [attr="class","cainjournalfooter"] Cain |

- But if Dmitri's deal goes through, it'll mean Riker loses big[break]
- Dmitri either couldn't reach the media in time, or he let it happen. Does he know the deal will go through no matter what?[break][break]

Dmitri likes to provoke people. So that's what he's going to do. I don't doubt that he'll try and make Cass angrier just to push her buttons. Not enough to make her act though. but I'm really wondering what his motive is here...power, sure. But how and why?

As a coven leader, I'm so proud of what we've accomplished. Who knew I'd become the leader (and get re-elected, too??). It's stressful to lead such a huge coven, and I've been seeing more grey hairs of late...but I wouldn't have it any other way.[break][break]
Preparations have been mostly smooth, although the witches from Vale got back to me and they said they couldn't come. I'm not educated on Vale politics, but I'm assuming it's because of their recent change from a monarchy to a democracy...Cad prices I'm assuming are also probably a pain point.[break][break]
There's been riots because of CAD lately. Fortunately, it's only been concentrated downtown and around Lamia Towers. Dmitri has been quiet; I wonder if he's preparing for something. Cass was invited to the celebration, but I doubt she'll show. I did get a response back from Jeremiah though. Have only seen him at Cerberus HQ but he seems like kind of a himbo if I'm being honest. I like it.
