THE CALLING: PHASE 1
[attr="class","staffbody"] [attr="class","staffheadimg"]  BRIEF[attr="class","staffpara"] Welcome to PHASE 1 of the Calling. [break][break] This will be an ongoing event where your characters will be interacting with the curse in some way. In order to qualify for full rewards, you must complete a thread pertaining to the curse during phase 1. [break][break] If your characters currently possess a curse, they must have at least one thread where they are dealing with the effects of the curse. Inflammatory Mana Syndrome is not the same for everyone, so you may mix and match symptoms. However, everyone afflicted with this curse will in the very least, have symptoms of unstable mana. Some prompt examples:
Your character attempts to talk to a familiar, but they find themselves utterly alone for a few minutes. This has never happened before. How do they react?- Your character is attempting to cast a spell, but it goes haywire, potentially injuring people. The opposite -- not being able to cast a spell at all, is also valid!
- Your character suddenly feels sick while talking/interacting with another character
[break] If your character does not possess a curse, they must have at one thread witnessing or interacting with a character who has IMS. Some prompts: - Someone's familiar suddenly becomes aggressive or paranoid.
- They are caring for someone who feels sick or has symptoms.
- They attempt to contact a NPC who may know more about this sickness.
[break] Remember that if you rolled above a 30, you may still participate in the curse if you would like!
