The rise of Eldor name was from humble means. A carpenter, talented in the alchemical concoctions rose from the ranks. Others too, born under the same name, branched out the family's fame and influence. So begins the shining age of the Eldors. Their feats winning the attention from the public and inspired many to persue the dream of success. [break][break]
Every ongoing generation produced budding talents that received the crowning glory of being adorned into Hall of Light in the Eldor Mansion, displayed proudly for any to see. The family grew in all fields; art, business, politics, military and proved itself a powerful presence among the nobility of Salem. The estate grew from a simple house to the grand mansion that hosted a Eldor tree forest spanning acres and growing with each generation. [break][break]
Then, the tree lost the light it needed to sustain life. No longer was there a shining golden child to led the family to prosper, rather, the family had become accustomed to prodigal lifestyle that were earned by their forbearers. The tumours of the The family name had all but faded into past memories by the age of the Great War.[break][break]

The Great War

It was not that the family did not struggle to win it back. Lucille's maternal grandfather, Matthias Eldor had participated in the war for Cerberus. However, before any glory could be achieved, he was medically discharged due to a stray spell that hit his rear with shocking accuracy while trying to save a fellow Cerburus witch.[break][break]
News of this odd injury reached from the battlefield, past the fortified walls of Delphi and into the mouths of every household conversation. These rumours swirled around that he pretended to fake injury to run away from battle, others told that his rear grew blue from being unable to sit for so long. From then on he was known as "Blue Bottom", instead of Matthias Eldor. The name mocked every living hour of his wake, leaving him in fits of rage and tears. Sometimes, though, he was lucid enough to lift Lucille onto his shoulders and tell her about the glorious history of the house and its legacy as they walked on its grounds. [break][break]
Aland would always look unimpressed and leave on his own little adventure. After only living there for five years, Lucille's world moved from up top in the Vulcan Highlands down to the smaller house in the residential areas as funds of the Eldor estate ran low. [break][break]
