With waist-length purple hair, and dark eyes attentively listening to all your woes while plucking out the best possible questions anyone wants to be asked, Ives comes across as someone that is captivating yet aloof. It's difficult to get a grip on her- questions get dodged easily, refuted back to you, while your throat runs dry from speaking for hours to her about your life story; leaving the conversation happy that you just spoke to a nice girl. In reality, you spoke to someone genuinely rotten to their core- an ambitious, conniving person that has so much derision for other people, it's a wonder that you didn't see her facade slip to reveal her disgust with you.

Ives Monet is obsessed with one thing and one thing only- success. She finds success in hoards of gold and jewelry, calculating people's worth through how much they can actually sell for and for those that can offer her nothing; neither money nor information, she slips away from quickly. Money is everything to her; secondary to only acquiring knowledge of people simply for the sake of future insurance. She makes her living by accompanying people; the rich, the lonely, and the destitute, and trades in her company for gold and secrets whispered through muffled pillows at the crack of dawn.

Disinterested in anyone that cannot assist her in her goal, it's miraculous that Ives is ultimately loyal to the Hydra cause, finding refuge in the underbelly of thinly veiled crimes, far away from what her parents have wanted her to be. She views them with repulse- realizing that they never tried to make something of themselves and dismissing their concerns to seek a life of glory in her own greed. She grew up with a fierce desire for something more; something beyond the simple life offered to her, swiftly showing her willingness to abandon everything that shackled her with ease. Viewing her family as some kind of subservient burden, Ives found solace in the very acts that others may find too despicable to perform, in theft, in accompanying the lonely, and in hurting those that others may detest. Nothing is too difficult for her- but as with Ives, everything she offers comes with a price.
