introducing - persistent missions

Welcome to the Interlude -- we are now in the rising action of several exciting storylines, site-wide plots and member plots, quests and events, relationships and their ruins.[break][break]

Which the perfect time to reflect --- with a new, experimental type of mission: Persistent missions.[break][break]

Unlike event-cycle missions, persistent missions typically happen in the past (or can occur "at any point") and gives opportunities to explore a character's history as a witch. As a result, persistent missions:

Can be started at any time, even after the cycle "ends."
Can encompass threads that are already underway.
Bonus rewards may still be given out, provided the mission begins and ends before July 9th, 5p.m. CST.
Rules on doubling up still apply -- one character can only claim rewards for persistent missions ONCE.
For persistent missions, you are allowed to use NPC thread cards (within logical IC reason) -- doing so will automatically forfeit your bonus, so as not to pressure staff.

[break][break] PLEASE NOTE -- Some of these prompts may be difficult to fulfill with existing characters due to pre-established plots. If fulfilling these missions as full-blown threads is difficult, you may choose instead to incorporate flashbacks of these past events into a thread set in the present-day! As long as you have fun with the prompts and incorporate the "past" and/or these various coven joining rituals somehow, you're probably fine.

THE "APPRENTICESHIP" - A mission issued by the Delphi Council typically a few weeks after a witch receives their license (but one the witch can take or retake at any point in their lives) the "apprenticeship" is an unpaid, voluntary task wherein a witch is paired with another witch of the same domain to help assist in mundane or community-oriented efforts. For alchemists, this could look like helping at the pharmacy. Summoners may find their skill needed in construction or labour-intensive work. Starcallers may be called upon to run shifts at the observatory, etc.
