delta zeta is a high ranking cerberus squad that is known for its collection of extremely capable and experienced acolytes. also known as an 'incubator' for rising witches, new sentinels are placed here as a test of their limits. as a result, sentinels do not usually stay long--those who ascend to acolyte rank are quickly promoted out, and those who will stay sentinels are moved to a squad more suitable to their rank.

this squad typically does patrols around delphi's borders and conducts combat exercises to eradicate daemons as part of their regular duties. however, being mostly reservists, delta zeta is also regularly on-call for critical and urgent missions that crop up. currently they are tasked with patrolling the jairwood swamp after the events of camp trishula, in order to keep cursed witches away from the area, and also to capture any rogue familiars.
