The Program is a much-celebrated and time-honored institution -- it's as much a chance for young witches to learn vital skills as it is a display of trust, friendship, and co-operation between the cities of Salem.

I, Kashvi Verna, delight in being able to welcome the brightest young minds of Salem to my home, Eclipse Town.

Eclipse is home to incredible medicinal farms, the largest variety of wildlife of all of Salem's cities, and, of course, Haloed, our oldest and longest-serving coven. We are excited to welcome delegations from all over Salem, especially Cerberus of Delphi and The Cavalry of the Vale. [break][break]

It has, quite transparently, also been the site for many recent rupture openings -- which is why this year's NEP has been opened to sentinel witches as well.[break][break]

As always, the Program will aim to train young witches in the use of RSM Lamps and rupture-sealing techniques, and then apply those skills to a real-world rupture -- Rupture 259A Codename "UNDERSEA" -- just southwest of Eclipse -- has been selected for this year's Program.

For those who think that this year's NEP is too dangerous, too extreme a task, I urge you to remember: this program is not mere lipservice to history. The exchange was born of necessity, when the cities and towns of Salem needed each other's help and knowledge to fend off the evils of this world.

The work young witches do at NEP every year is not for show -- it is an active, vital contribution to the ongoing mission of safety and life.

Hey everyone! It is time to sign up for the NOVICE EXCHANGE PROGRAM (NEP) as well as for the SILVERWING GALA. Since these happen ICly at the same time, we need to have everyone do sign ups all at once, but you will be able to change your mind for the Silverwing Gala up until we've started it. Please read through all of the guidelines before posting your form, there are some special circumstances regarding the signups for these events.

• Only non-preset witches are allowed in NEP.
• You may only sign up one character for each event.
• This will be injury-enabled.
• Only CERBERUS and PEGASUS are allowed in NEP. In contrast, only SYBARIS and HYDRA witches are allowed in the Silverwing Gala.
• Witches that are ranked SENTINEL and below are allowed in NEP.
• NEP will be a site-wide event with a 72 hour round cycle, similar to CAD and the afterparty. NEP will offer more rewards as opposed to Silverwing, though Silverwing will still be significant to the site plot. More details will come out about Silverwing later.
• Sign ups end on JUNE 4TH at 5 PST. Inventories will be locked for NEP.
• The following characters can bypass coven restrictions due to their tie-ins:

• IF UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN NEP, such as only having one character, or another unique circumstance, you have the choice to either:[break]

  - Participate in Silverwing, but you will get a solo moderated quest during NEP.[break][break]
